Procedure to file an application under RTI

Application can be submitted in writing, with prescribed fee of Rs. 10/-, directly to the Central Public Information Officer (PIO) or at any of the e-Sampark / Jan Sampark and Gram Sampark Centres located in Chandigarh or one can file it online through https://rtionline.gov.in.

These Centres will route the application to the concerned CPIO. The citizen will be issued a receipt on submission of the application containing application no., date, and details of the concerned CPIOs.
